Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager - FT - Beauty/CPG

ROLE OVERVIEW: 

Our client is looking for a Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager to lead social and influencer strategy for two of their portfolio brands.The primary function will be to develop social strategies, lead content creation, and develop calendars to grow our social footprints while also testing out new platforms. In addition, you will help grow our network of advocates across all of our brands while fostering relationships with brand loyalists. You will liaison between talent and PR ensuring that all external communications ladder up to the total brand vision, strategy, and brand voice.

Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop social strategies to support new launches and execute Brand visions. Communicate strategies to the international teams for consistent messaging worldwide
  • Lead content shoots by ideating and developing shot lists and provide creative direction for concepting through execution
  • Manage the development of the content calendar(s) across all social platforms to support “always on” evergreen content, campaign needs, global market and retail partner needs to help exceed KPIs
  • Assist in managing Social Media Coordinator to community manage, coordinate product send outs, and create copy for content calendar
  • Help execute social and community management tactics for key product launches, events, activations and help create proactive crisis management programs
  • Coordinate with Brand teams to align on product priorities and support retailers by leveraging swipe-up opportunities whenever possible
  • Proactively secure partnership with brands that synergize with Brands’ DNA to launch campaigns and/or sweepstakes that cross-promote social following
  • Create Brand’s influencer strategy and oversee PR/Influencer agency from initial engagement and outreach to negotiation, content creation, and execution across all brands
  • Identify opportunities to integrate influencer content on owned channels
  • Ensure a seamless integration of the Brands’ influencer strategies with overall marketing efforts
  • Deploy the Brands’ influencer strategies to markets and affiliates around the world, consulting with international teams on the implementation of key strategies
  • Develop loyalist networks for each Brand and create incentive programs to foster and maintain brand advocacy
  • Conduct monthly reporting on social performance, engagement and KPIs – then optimize strategy based on results using SocialIQ and CreatorIQ and other social tools

Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager Experience/qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in social media/influencer marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • You have a mastery of content strategy and storytelling across content formats (video, digital, print materials, etc.)
  • You love content creation and overseeing a vision from brainstorm to execution
  • You’re first to try new social platforms
  • You have exceptional multi-tasking skills
  • You have a high level of organization, attention to detail and ability to adhere to a budget and delivery timeline
  • You are a strategic thinker with an understanding of analytics and social reporting
  • You have experience across all social media platforms including emerging channels including, but not limited to: TikTok, podcasts, etc.
  • You are passionate about beauty, wellness, and body care products
  • You are a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative, define what needs to get done and multi-task
  • You are a people person – you enjoy communicating & are happiest when you're corresponding with others and forming new relationships
  • You are social, outgoing, personable and friendly
  • In your spare time, you always find yourself scouting new people to follow on Instagram or are out and about making new connections with like-minded individuals
  • You celebrate your success, and the success of the team even more
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
