Social Media Manager - Entertainment

Our client, a notable agency specialized in the entertainment and media spaces is looking for a Sr. Social Media Manager to join their team contract to hire. This opportunity is located on-site in the Hollywood area, full-time hours.


Listen and monitor conversation on social media channels

Execute social media strategies across multiple titles/technologies

Manage client social sentiment on all project and create client sentiment reports

Manage client postings and offer savvy and forward thinking social media advice and strategy for each post

Work with management and clients to create and write a social strategy brief for each project

Manage timelines for all social media programs.

Advise on budgets for all social media programs. 

Seek, evaluate and socialize new social media platforms including new technology opportunities.

Oversee the development of multiple forms of media to engage audiences that entice them to discover, consume and share with their individual networks.

Establish ongoing audit and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficacy of social media plans.


4+ years relevant professional experience in theatrical or television marketing with a strong online/digital and social media background.

In-depth understanding of entertainment marketing, social media planning, social media principles, SEO, buying/amplification and creative/production functions.

Solid entertainment industry knowledge.

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, performance metrics and reporting processes, techniques and technologies.

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven success in marketing films through social media and digital content.

Strategic and creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to a rapidly growing client base.

Thorough understanding of the theatrical and television marketing and digital/social universe and with the ability to tap into emerging trends, platforms and technologies.
