Sr Analyst, Testing Operations

Our client, a leading apparel company, is seeking a contract Sr. Analyst Testing Operations, Strategy and Product Operations.  From cotton to customer our Global Supply Chain and Operations (GSC) and Product Operations organization is comprised of thousands of employees who source, produce and deliver the company's iconic American style around the world. It is no longer enough for supply chains and operations to be just “execution engines.” We have to deliver real value to our growing global company in every stage of our product lifecycle. Product Testing is a key focus area in our business, enabling our brand teams to test product to gain customer feedback that drives high-impact, strategic decisions. Testing informs a range of decisions – from the size of a denim order to re-designing a dress or selecting a print prior to manufacturing. Testing Operations owns end-to-end test executions, creates best in class execution process and tools, and drives sustainability through continuous improvement. This includes working on our 1) in-store product testing program and 2) online product testing capability.

We are seeking someone with a passion for retail who thrives in a cross-functional working environment and will enjoy learning about all aspects of the retail business. You will get to work with functions across our brand (e.g. Merchandising, Production, Marketing, Design, Inventory Management, Store Operations, etc.) to understand how retail works.
• Own and drive end to end execution process for in-store / online product testing
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional brand teams to coordinate testing activities from test preparation to completion
• Drive collection of data/artifacts required for building test to meet testing objectives
• Track testing execution progress, identify issues/risks, develop mitigation plans and coordinate actions
• Partner with Analytics to prepare testing analysis parameters and ensure test model outcomes are valid
• Validate and synthesize the outcomes and findings to prepare for Brands
• Collect, manage, maintain testing data for testing measurement and reporting
• Develop standardized and scalable test processes and tools for company 
• Build strong partnerships with Brands, Brand Engagement, Analytics and Product Management teams

Job Qualifications Include:

• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
• 2+ years of experience, Retail experience in Consulting, Inventory Management, Merchandising or Production will be a plus
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
