Sr Brand Manager (CPG)

Client Overview: 

Our client is an iconic beauty brand creating the latest makeup must-haves. Their innovative, on-trend, and high-quality products inspire you to feel your most beautiful every day.

Position Overview:

In this position, you will identify gaps in current offerings for a PERSONAL CARE brand. You will specifically be responsible for developing global brand strategy, product innovation across markets, and communication of new assets. You'll have 1 direct report and report into a Sr. Director.  

Responsibilities:

  • Champion of brand/category initiatives for new product development and specific elements of a marketing plan.

  • Lead analysis and development of marketing strategies and concepts.

  • Contribute to the development of category and product strategies + collaborate in new product ideation and brainstorming.

  • Analyze new product feasibility (size of opportunity, target audience, forecasting, pricing, return on investment, competitive review); uncover category, competitive, and consumer insights and recommend appropriate course of action.

  • Manage the development and execution of brand advertising in television, print, and digital.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required); MBA (preferred)

  • 6+ years’ Brand Management experience – Global or North America (NA preferred)

  • Prior experience in CPG (preferred) or Cosmetics/Beauty

  • Reporting whiz (i.e. Nielsen); insights obsessed; highly analytical

  • Soft skills: self-sufficient, persistent, assertive, proactive, reliable, fast-paced
