Our client is seeking a Senior Brand Strategist to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer-obsessed and passionate about creating and driving brand strategy.

Overview:

The Senior Brand Strategist will be responsible for product naming, brand positioning and developing complex messaging frameworks in the consumer payments space. This person will have a proven track record of deeply understanding customers and translating that knowledge into actionable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer facing messaging to marketing channel owners
  • Create messaging strategy for key target segments
  • Lead the development of brand voice and personality, partnering with UX team
  • Understand local needs and adaptations to messaging required for international territories
  • Serve as business owner for all brand research and tracking studies partnering with Market Research and UX
  • Drive brand consistency across marketing assets worldwide including with partner teams
  • Measure key KPIs to increase familiarity
  • Regularly audit competitive strategic analysis, customer/target audience segmentation, and consumer insight development
  • Act as strategic lead for new feature updates/ go to market strategies and all marketing initiatives
  • Use compelling and comprehensive data to measure performance of programs and drive innovation
  • Plan and help execute all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media


Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and developing naming, positioning and brand strategy for a global brand or product portfolio
  • Experience collaborating with key internal stakeholders
  • Experience building and measuring content across channels; such as on-stage keynotes, sales presentations, and blog and website content
  • Understanding of how to achieve brand consistency
     

Preferred: 

  • MBA
  • Experience managing complex brand portfolios
  • A demonstrated track record of developing and tracking brand sentiment and recall through qual and quant mechanisms
