Sr. Recruiter opportunity in SF (long term contract)

We seek someone who can do the “hunt” for passive candidates and help us build pipelines in key areas like Software Engineering, Product Management, Editorial, and Sales.   The ideal candidate will have a generalist recruiting background with a demonstrated track record in technology and product management recruiting.



·                Manage high volume searches offering full life cycle recruiting services 

·                Participate in the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition strategy and programs

·                Design and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies including building effective networks and relationships with the technical community nationwide to create an on-going pipeline of top, qualified candidates

·                Sell our employment brand and job opportunities

·                Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, including sourcing talent, cold calling, evaluating candidate skill level, conducting reference checks and presenting offers

·                Build relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand their business

·                Educate / coach hiring managers on available talent pool, recruiting best practices and their role

·                Partner with hiring managers and / or Human Resources Business Partners to document requirements and / or create job descriptions for open requisitions

·                Ensure compliance with hiring policies, practices and company values

·                Compile and communicate recruiting status and metrics on a regular and ongoing basis

·                Negotiate with candidates and assist hiring managers with new hire compensation packages



·                Ideal candidate will have a blend of agency and corporate recruiting experience 

·                Proven track record in high volume recruiting with ability to prioritize and juggle

·                Must have demonstrated success in the “hunt” or “dig” for candidates across functions

·                Capable recruiting business partner with at least 3 years of full life cycle recruiting encompassing sourcing, attracting, and hiring software and IT professionals

·                Must be a strong relationship builder that is consultative in nature who is skilled in the “art of the pushback” with senior level executives including C-level executives

·                Knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing employment policies and practices

·                Knowledge of and proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Brass Ring would be ideal), recruiting technologies, Google mail/calendaring, and MS office

·                Organizational skills and project management experience

·                Ability to multitask, adapt to change and achieve results in a fast-paced environment

·                Bachelors degree or equivalent training and experience
