Store Manager-West Hollywood, CA

We are seeking a strong Store Manager for a Hot Casual Contemporary apparel brand for their new store opening soon in West Hollywood, CA 

The Store Manager will be a leader in driving the success of the new flagship boutique. This is a highly entrepreneurial role leading teams, with passion for the brand and customer orientation in a new omni-channel retail formula. 

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Store Manager will be responsible for the store P&L and managing all aspects of the store operation in adherence to company standards
  • Lead the team and supervise all staff
  • Recruitment and develop store staff
  • Client services and client base development
  • Visual and Product management
  • Managing payroll and maintain optimal store staffing levels
  • Supervise cycle count and inventory management
  • Protect company assets, minimize shrink, ensure safety standards, implement policies/conduct codes
  • Direct visual merchandising standards and ensure product is presented according to brand standards
  • Manage receipts, replenishment, inventory levels, shipping/receiving, returns to warehouse, customer returns, promotions execution, and ensure all activities are done in adherence to company standards
  • Drive to results: manage the store P&L for profitability; achieve weekly/monthly sales goals. Continuously think of opportunities to improve and maximize the business
  • Manage store KPIs: analyze traffic, conversion, SPH, payroll key metrics and impact on overall store performance. Know your numbers and consistently implement initiatives to drive store results improvement
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to motivate the team and clearly communicate goals and corporate initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 7+ years of retail experience managing a high volume Store

• Flexible, availability to work during “peak retail periods” such as evenings, weekends, holidays

• Teamwork and initiative; manage the store as if it was yours

• Demonstrated leadership in a supervisory role; ability to motivate, inspire, develop, attract talent, communicate clearly and professionally

• Proven organizational skills and business skills. Clear understanding of retail business drivers. Familiarity with Retail IT systems and KPIs.
