Duties: 

The nature of the work is focused on creating product and brand demand, understanding external constituents and effectively presenting company or product information. Assist with the execution and implementation of product presentation plans, strategies, and initiatives in individual retail stores Implement daily product presentation plans, adapting corporate standards to fit the unique characteristics or limitations of a particular store Educate store associates on visual standards and proper techniques for building displays. Guide and support the work of in-store Visual Specialists Develop relationships with store management and corporate visual team, provide input and recommendations to ensure that store has adequate visual merchandising resources and support Seek out educational opportunities to increase knowledge of product presentation fundamentals and organization-specific visual standards and guidelines

Skills:    

1 year of industry experience in Retail, Product Presentation or equivalent combinations. Hands-on experience in product merchandising management. Typical Retail & Distribution: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. The employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. The employee may be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized articles and packaging requiring them to exert force or lift up to 50 pounds. The employee may be called upon to distinguish colors and shapes requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify the various types of product they are handling for building retail displays, handling inventory, or other retail related tasks.

Education:          

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 0-1 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
