UX/UI Production Designer

Client Overview:

Position Overview:

As the UX/UI Production Designer, you would work under the instruction and guidance of the project Creative Director and participate in review of coded components for design execution quality.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the instruction and guidance of the project Creative Director and participate in review of coded components for design execution quality 
• Conduct initial design research into current software component usage and other best in class UX pattern examples outside the healthcare industry 
• Collaborate with a team of Visual/UX Designers and Creative Director to rapidly ideate approaches to UI component design 
• Take point on clearly defining all pertinent variations and states supported by each component, informed by UX best practices, modern design trends, and understanding of product context 
• Produce base wireframe concepts that model different use cases and interaction behaviors for each component 
• Provide the voice of UX advocate in the internal team review and critique of component visual design executions 
• Prepare UX annotations that clearly communicate intended interaction behaviors that are not readily apparent in the visual illustration of the component 

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated UX design skills with portfolio 
• Projects that include application UX design for a more sophisticated enterprise or web-based software
• Experience working with design systems a plus 
• Proficiency in production of wireframes for software UI 
• Demonstrated experience producing clearly written UX, interaction, and or functional specifications 
• High attention to detail
• Experience working in an iterative manner with the ability to easily absorb design critiques and produce incremental improvements
