Video Production/Digital Coordinator
Our client, a cosmetics company, is looking for a Video Production/Digital Coordinator! The Video Production/Digital Coordinator fulfills the role of a video production specialist/designer/editor in the Creative department. Coordinating all types of digital, social media, and video/multimedia projects, this person performs all aspects of project management that support internal Marketing, Advertising and Education initiatives, as well as interacting with external agencies and vendors. This includes concepting and executing all facets of the production process with responsibility for quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness. To foster these activities, an individual will share ideas and innovations to help improve services in Marketing, Advertising and Education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Concepting, shooting and editing of Marketing, Advertising and Education–based videos
• Overseeing all technical equipment: sound and lighting
• Recommending and selecting additional camera/sound operators/crew when needed
• Performing all post–production editing: video, audio, music selection, and creating all motion graphics
• Interfacing with Marketing/Advertising/Education to satisfy target goals/corrections
• Coordinating with EIS Department to manage uploading of files
• Producing TV spots from pre-production to post-production, assist in conception, shot-list/storyboarding, shooting and editing
• Creating final files for MN Connections, merlenorman.com, DVD memory card, Brightsign and Compustick for in-Studio, TV stations and public YouTube viewing
• Work on multiple projects/videos simultaneously as needed to adhere to production deadlines
• Maintains project schedules and controls costs within budget guidelines
• Any other duties that may be assigned to meet company goals

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, multimedia, or similar field required. Knowledge of video/multimedia production and marketing is a plus.
An individual must have excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. Must speak/read/write in English as primary language of business. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must possess the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent technical skills, proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Media Encoder (proper compression/outputs) required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

The work environment is generally an office environment but sometimes requires entry into an operating manufacturing environment or warehouse. The office space includes standard office furniture including a desk, chair, file cabinets, and a computer system. The noise level is moderate.

Employee will also need to have strong color vision and hearing skills to be able to evaluate video recording and output to faithfully represent colors of products and to insure high-quality final video output.
