VP of Marketing Consultant (Luxury Beauty)

Position Overview

VP of Marketing Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of Marketing and Creative pertaining to new launches, collateral, and owned Boutiques on for the brand. This person will serve as the leader and driver for marketing strategies and executions around new product introductions,  boutique marketing, branded collateral, merchandising, product analysis and creative.  

•    Communicates regularly with French partners to influence long-term initiatives, and to manage deliverables
•    Manages relevant marketing budgets and collaborates with Finance on P&L creation and expense tracking 
•    Manages creative team and process in servicing all creative projects across departments and brands
•    Active participant on Director Team to help progress company initiatives and processes via leadership and high-performance results
•    Works to continuously build brand awareness through innovative product launches and initiatives
•    Directs launch strategies for all channels of distribution and drives development and execution to market 
•    Oversees management of 360 launch timelines
•    Conducts on-going competitive product and marketing analysis; helps create approach for quantitatively and qualitatively evaluating business and initiatives in order to be more data driven and improve programs for positive future impact 
•    Oversees asset development for new product launches, collaborating with Events and Sales Promotions to ensure all execution needs are met
•    Participates in forecasting for new launches, collateral programs and merchandising programs
•    Collaborates with Sales, Operations and Corporate Communications on all relevant programs
•    Leads development and execution for merchandising elements in collaboration with Visual Merchandising 
•    Liaises with Visual Merchandising team on in-store visuals and enhancements for relevant retailers
•    Directs development of necessary collateral to support merchandising initiatives
•    Creates Marketing calendar and liaises with Boutique Management to execute programming
•    Oversees execution of launches and merchandising initiatives in Boutiques 
•    Ensures that Boutique and Ecommerce Marketing programs are coordinated with an omni-channel approach

•    7-10 years Marketing brand management experience; luxury sector experience a must; beauty industry-related experience strongly preferred 
•    Knowledge of the US/ Canadian Beauty market
•    French speaker a plus
•    Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills
•    Ability to analyze the business and identify new growth opportunities within marketing function
•    Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage and motive direct reports and cross-functional teams 
•    Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment while being adaptable to change
•    Comfortable working with a small team and willing to take on new challenges/opportunities as they arise
