Web Manager

The Web Manager will maintain web content and design to ensure the client's websites are functional, accurate, and up to date. They will implement the company web-based marketing strategy to promote the company brand, attract visitors and potential leads, and generate internet sales. Develop high-performance, sales driven atmosphere. Take on new and unproven tasks in order to develop new business ideas and opportunities that help lead the company to future success.


Duties/Responsibilities:


Creates and maintain websites in collaboration with web developers.
Reviews web content, links, and design; provides necessary updates and enhancements in a timely manner. Analyze the client's website for improvement.
Monitors site security; reports suspected or actual security breaches and denial of service attacks to appropriate staff.
Implements appropriate security measures such as firewalls or message encryption.
Manages internet infrastructure including but not limited to web, file transfer protocol (FTP), mail servers.
Identifies useful site performance metrics; collects, tracks, records, compiles, analyzes, and reports site usage data
Maintains strong knowledge and expertise in web design and development; participates in professional conferences, workshops, and groups. 


Works with marketing and CEO to implement web-based marketing strategies and advertising campaigns via the company websites.

Design, research, develop analyze and suggest new marketing concepts as well as strategies


Collaborates with web development and design/marketing; provides guidance on marketing-related aspects of the company web presence.
Develops and expands company web presence through social media, email, web advertising, and other online sources; promotes company brand through channels that connect the brand to the online user.


Collaborate with marketing, to draft, implement, maintain, and revise online marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue to the company.
Coordinates with marketing and gallery administrator to ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on the websites.


Monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results
spotting trend and technologies that play roles in consumer’s lives
Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in online marketing and is motivated to learn new technology that is influencing the web.


Works with CEO and CFO on budget preparation for marketing dept
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of website design and administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Fluency with markup and programming languages including HTML, XML, Java, and CSS.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software.
Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.

Education and Experience:
Associates degree or two years of vocational school required; Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Web Development, or related field preferred.
At least four years of proven related experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
