Account Executive 

Account Executive Overview:
Our client is seeking an Account executive to join their team. You will develop and build a newly created wholesale division at a women's apparel fashion brand. Find and cultivate relationships with specialty retail stores throughout the US. You will be responsible for a robust business-building strategy, playing a key role in bringing US strategic retail partners to carry in their stores. This candidate must have fashion experience. 

Account Executive Roles and Responsibilities: 

· Develop a wholesale strategy from the bottom-up that is both brand and revenue focused to hit specific near and long-term revenue growth and objectives

· Target, “Cold-Call” and land highly desired accounts.

· Responsible for the management of wholesale customer accounts in North America + Online global accounts. Take ownership and manage the business in their territory to achieve and exceed sales plans.

· Lead market appointments by presenting the collection to current and prospective accounts. Have a deep understanding and knowledge of current collections and carryover styles to present to clients at trade shows.

· Connect with buyers to provide a seamless ordering experience. Be/become an expert on Joor platform, ordering wholesale tool. Acquire, enter, and send orders daily with a commitment to impeccable client management.

· Send out weekly & monthly wholesale reporting’s. Generate and manage sales and inventory reports; discover new opportunities for reorders.

· Manage market show calendar, wholesale shipment tracking, PO entries, creation, and management of collection.

· Strategize new innovative ways to grow existing client base while building new relationships.

· Utilizes digital tools (MailChimp, Instagram, Emails, Facebook) to connect with clients, serve their needs, and generate order.

· Seasonal store visits with top accounts to conduct product training, promote brand awareness and assist in store events.

· Responsible for seasonal sample order placement and track sample inventory.

· Manage sales reps outside of territory.

· Build deep expertise in regional market trends, consumer dynamics, preferences and understand how this relates to the total market.

Account Executive Key Qualifications:

· College Degree (preferably with a fashion/business background)

· Strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation and very strong written and oral communication skills as candidate will be interacting daily with customers

· Knowledge of Google Docs/Drive, Excel, Word and Dropbox.

· “Can-Do” attitude, people person, efficient and creative problem solver, self-starter, and someone who takes ownership and is willing to own projects with consistent follow-through. No job too big or too small.

· Desire to work for a fast-paced company and provide support to the CEO and COO

· Knowledge of Retail Math

· Ability to travel to market

· Maintains positive working relationships

· Must be professional and polished, with a strong work ethic and pleasant demeanor.

· Fast and eager learner, who is also organized and highly detailed-oriented.

· Strong understanding of merchandising and sales in the fashion market.

· Proven ability to take direction well.

· Proven ability to thrive and multi-task in a flexible, highly energetic work environment.

· Comfortable with occasional short-term (2-4 days) traveling nationwide for trade shows, in-season market meetings and store events.
