Account Executive (NY)
We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Account Executive to grow our presence in the wedding and corporate events market. This full-time, New York-based position is ideal for a polished sales professional who excels at building trust, creating exceptional client experiences, and closing high-value opportunities.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business. You will manage inbound opportunities, cultivate relationships with planners and prospective clients, lead discovery conversations, and collaborate with design and production teams to develop persuasive proposals and deliver a seamless sales experience.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, qualify, and nurture inbound leads from multiple channels.
- Develop strong relationships with wedding planners, corporate planners, and prospective clients.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand each client’s goals, vision, scope, budget, and event requirements.
- Convert client needs into clear internal briefs for design and production teams.
- Collaborate with creative partners to develop customized, compelling proposals.
- Work with production teams to prepare accurate estimates, project plans, and timelines.
- Present proposals and confidently guide prospects through the sales process.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Close new business and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records for pipeline activity, prospects, forecasts, and account status.
- Provide administrative and operational support related to sales activity.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in new business development, sales, or account management.
- A demonstrated history of building a sales pipeline, winning business, and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience in events, hospitality, luxury services, creative agencies, or a comparable client-service environment.
- Exceptional communication, listening, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- A client-first approach and genuine enthusiasm for exceeding expectations.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
