24 Seven is partnering with their globally recognized retail company based in Portland, OR to help them find a Men's Apparel Designer to join their team in this hybrid position! This a 4 month contract covering a leave of absence. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick time and more.

The Ideal Candidate: will have a bachelor's or associate's degree in apparel design, 5+ years of experience in the industry preferably in men's apparel and be an expert in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.

The Apparel Designer is responsible for conceiving and designing commercially successful sportswear for the target consumer in Menswear. This position takes direction from the Sr. Designer and collaborates closely with the Merchandiser and other key stakeholders to ensure that new products reflect the brand aesthetic, high quality standards, and align with seasonal strategies. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB 
x Illustrate, execute and present design ideas in a clear and understandable manner
x Creates product tech packs with appropriate detailed specifications.
x Provide prototype sampling information, including fabrication, trim, color, style, detail, fit requirements and construction detail. Responsible for their own design handovers to development.
x Assist with fittings.
x Maintain knowledge and expertise in current trends of color, material, silhouettes, and garment construction through ongoing market research.
x Maintain a close working relationship with cross-functional partners.
x Assist with seasonal sales meeting presentations and any other relevant meetings/events if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
