We are seeking a talented and creative Apparel Designer to join a well-known fashion and apparel brand on a part-time freelance basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring occasional onsite presence to collaborate closely with the design and product teams.

The Apparel Designer must have strong expertise in apparel design, with the ability to conceptualize and create innovative products, garments, and items that align with current market trends and brand identity. You will play a key role in developing fresh design ideas from initial concept through to final execution.

Ideal Apparel Designer candidates will have:
– At least 3-5+ years of experience in apparel design with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills.
– Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
– Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fit.
– Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
– Availability for hybrid onsite work as required.

Job Responsibilities:
– Design and develop new apparel products, including garments and accessories, reflecting brand aesthetics and consumer needs.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality, functionality, and production requirements.
– Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for prototype development.
– Stay current on fashion trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to inspire innovative design solutions.
– Support the product lifecycle from concept through sampling and production phases.
