The Assistant Buyer role strengthens your merchandising acumen to prepare you and grow into Buyer.
- This role will support analysis of the business and support Buyer and make recommendations
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships and credibility with vendors.
- This includes attending frequent in-person meetings, as well as regular interactions with vendors to problem solve, trouble shoot, and discuss market trends.
- Solid understanding of product category
- Utilize Retail Math skills on monitoring Open to Buy
- Seeking analytical mindset, love retail buying side and product
- Strong communication skills: actively listen, demonstrate the ability to build relationships.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree required, MS Office, Excel V Look Ups, Pivot Tables
• 2years in Merchandising or Buying experience
• Results Driven able, to prioritize task, resilient and work well with team
