Our client, an award winning creative studio is seeking an Associate Producer with post production experience. This is a 12 week assignment with potential to extend that is hybrid onsite in the LA area.
The Associate Producer is a temporary position that sits at the center of that ecosystem. You’ll support Production in managing timelines, tracking milestones, and keeping communication flowing across creative, capture, editorial,
graphics, finishing, and operations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide production support to client-facing producers, post teams, and creative team members.
• Maintain a real-time understanding of overall project needs and final delivery responsibilities.
• Maintain and update schedules; ensure project management systems are current and proactively
communicate milestone shifts to key stakeholders and department leads.
• Support producers with scope change tracking; facilitate cross-department communication regarding
schedule impacts on time tracking and resource allocation.
• Take detailed notes on internal and external calls; track and follow up on action items and next steps.
• Support post-production during delivery phases, including delivery-day hit lists and creation/maintenance
of shot and legal trackers.
• Manage delivery and round preparation, including Frame.io link creation, server organization, delivery
matrix updates, and active participation in QC with strong attention to detail.
• Coordinate preparation materials for external vendors (Audio Mix, Color Correction, VFX/CG, Flame, VO,
composers, etc.)
• Transcribe scripts and recorded materials as needed.
• Organize and manage footage on servers according to established workflows.
• Contribute to editorial posting notes, including fact-checking and notes-on-notes for each round.
• Support game capture teams with scheduling, communication, and cross-functional coordination.
Ideal Skillset / Requirements:
• Available to work onsite during key finishing and delivery windows to
support close collaboration with the post team. Ideally the candidate can be available to work in office 2-3
days per week (on average).
• Clear, concise communicator with strong responsiveness and follow-through.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled at managing upward, and keeping internal teams aligned through timely, organized
communication.
• Actively engaged in meetings, confident in providing status updates and contributing thoughtfully to
discussions.
• Passion for, and knowledge of video games is a strong preference but not required.
• Familiarity with live action on-set workflows and production etiquette, with a genuine interest insupporting set operations as needed.
• Experience with producing localized A/V assets is a plus.
