POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT 
The Business Analyst, Ecommerce & Digital marketing leads business intelligence, metrics and analytics initiatives with significant experience in development of analytic insight, strategic initiatives, marketing resource investment planning and actionable business decision driving.  Highly passionate developing insights, setting high standards, providing information that enables dynamic decision-making, and consistently improving customer experience by using data analytics skillsets. Excellent business acumen and communication skills enable you to work with business leaders and develop key business questions, then work backwards to deliver meaningful insights that answer those questions. Deep analytical skills, strong business judgement, and focus on our core operational inputs will make you a critical partner to business leaders as you leverage analytical insights to help prioritize initiatives, identify gaps in process and performance, and remove barriers to execution. This role is excited about working with data, driven to dive deep, and passionate about collaborating with Leadership and Operations teams. This role reports to the Director of Ecommerce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and populate several routine weekly/monthly business and forecast sales reports with regular inputs from various other reports provided by vendors and other departments, ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of created reports. Reports to include key Ecommerce & digital marketing KPIs, product sell through, customer acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies
• Perform ad-hoc analysis using Google Analytics, Ecommerce platform reports, BI, and ad agency reports to support, recommend, on what the customer is looking for on ecommerce sites. Communicate and present ideas clearly and confidently such that a non-technical audience can grasp the subject matter easily
• Support managers/leaders with a deep attention to detail. This role’s reporting will be seen across the company and at the executive level
• Possess a firm understanding of the business operations & how an analysis can affect the organizations decisions commercially with actionable insights that will lead to tangible improved performance resulting in increased revenue and/or efficiencies
• Work with ad agencies and vendors to establish, track, and ensure delivery of performance reports and inputs with all Ecommerce and digital marketing metrics. Use these inputs to inform channel optimization and inform leadership of underperforming media channels
• Demonstrate the data proficiency, flair, and mastery on data manipulation to solve or answer organizations questions and be able to spot relevant patterns and trends
•Provide analysis and recommendations to Ecommerce team leadership on media optimization, site enhancements, bug fixes, digital market trends, competitors, conversion funnel performance to maximize Ecommerce performance
•Interface directly with logistics team and their reporting portal to pull data for several reports. Liaise with a wide range of people across different lines of business within the company
•Develop and contribute ideas/insights/analysis to Ecommerce projects. Should be able to differentiate when good is good enough when delivering a data analytics project
• Provide exceptional support & services to internal team members. Manage invoicing and accruals for the Ecommerce business unit
• Create insights for optimization and scaling of digital campaigns including Paid Search, Display, Email, Social Media, and Mobile. Experience with analytics, reporting and data visualization tools.
•  In partnership with the CRM team: Execute customer behavior and campaign response reporting including Life Time Value and client segmentation and other long-term trends in shopping behavior of Customers acquired through digital marketing. Provide insights into the omni-channel shopping behaviors of our customers (e.g., client acquisition, cross-over shopping in Boutiques and Outlets)
•  Support strategic initiatives from the analytical standpoint
•  Ensure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables meet and exceed the expectations

Education/Experience:
•   BA/BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Computational Finance, or other highly quantitative fields
•   1-3+ years professional experience within web / Ecommerce / digital / creative / retail
•   Experience with Women’s apparel highly preferred; luxury a plus
•   Strong understanding of the retail business and KPI’S (traffic, conversion, AUR)
• Robust business acumen and ability to understand financial impact 
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills 
•  Willingness to adapt to new tools, systems, and environments Technology / Relevant Skills 
• Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel (expert level proficiency required) 
•  Experience in Magento preferred, but not required
•  Web / Ecommerce Technology: Google Adwords, Google Analytics
