One of our shopper marketing and retail/CPG focused agency clients is looking for a versatile Media Director who specializes in building and advising on media strategies/plans for CPG brands at Target.

This Media Director will utilize their deep knowledge and experience with Target's omni-channel media ecosystems (in-store, digital, on/off platform, owned and third party tactics) and be responsible for the agency's media operations, integrating the proper paid/owned channels to deliver engaging shopper experiences that drive sales/conversion.

The Media Director must have previous agency, retailer media network, or CPG client-side media strategy experience with a focus on Target Retail Media and/or Roundel.

Ideal Commerce Media Director candidates must have:
- At least 7-10+ years of experience doing media strategy, tactical planning and vendor management in the discipline of retail/shopper marketing, within an agency, retailer’s media organization or CPG’s trade or customer marketing department
- Current knowledge of both digital and traditional shopper marketing tactics specific to Target
- BA degree in advertising, marketing, or related media field
- Strategic thinker in the development of shopper marketing campaigns and management of day to day business
- Well-versed in analyzing results, synthesizing data, drawing out insights & implications, and developing insightful and actionable recommendations
- Sound decision making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
- Confident presenter and clear, persuasive communicator able to dissect and explain complex data/details
- Collaborative team player and problem solving mindset

Nice to have:
- Previous experience working directly for or with Target and Target’s media platform (Roundel) is strongly preferred
- Strong existing relationships with key personnel at Target/Roundel
- Experience using tools & platforms such as Simmons, MRI, Kantar, etc.
