24 Seven is partnering up with one of their top global sportwear client based in Portland, OR to help them find a Comp Order Specialist to join their team in this hybrid opportunity! This is a full-time, 12 month contract with potential to extend. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick time, 401K and holiday pay.

DESCRIPTION:
Brand Marketing Product Management Center of Excellence is looking for a Comp Specialist to assist in executing comp order requests for seasonal product across multiple constructs, segments and geographies. You will partner with the Brand Marketing Product Management COE to facilitate product deliveries, which will strengthen the brand and shape our connection with consumers and athletes across the globe. Serving as a resource for Brand Marketing broadly, you will bring a customer-service attitude and approach to supporting their product needs.

Responsibilities:
•    Contribute special expertise by understanding and leveraging ordering and inventory tools
•    Be of service to GBM & Geographies by ensuring delivery of the right product at the right time for Marketing needs
•    Help planning partners make good decisions by exploring solutions to streamline processes, save time and keep costs low
•    Be a thought partner to troubleshoot and escalate issues
•    Be informed of enterprise-wide tools, systems and process evolution

Core capabilities for this role include:
•    Brand Management: Serve as a conduit between Product Management, Carriers, Distribution Centers and Facilities.
•    Operational Management: Support product ordering, deliveries, scheduling and planning and facilitate communications and systems management, training and testing
•    Team Management: Engage with and contribute to the Product Management COE and our community for process improvement

Comp Ordering:
•    Intake, enter and process Comp requests
•    Evaluate and align available inventory to orders
•    Identify and offer replacement products 

 Outbound Order Management:
•    Shipment tracking
•    Expedite requests
•    Remediation of open units 
•    Process Returns
•    Troubleshoot errors
•    Communicate order progress/delays
•    Support team with other various requests

Program/Systems Training:
•    Identify and support training opportunities 
•    Share training tools and helpful links 
•    Establish and maintain regular cadence of training program

System Testing:
•    Support testing for transition to new Order Management tools
•    Communicate challenges and errors with Transition leads
•    Validate expected results and inform inconsistencies
•    Verify DC impacts for new tool implementation 

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree
•    2+ years’ experience in marketing, events, operations, sports marketing, merchandising, consumer services, or as a product buyer
•    Strong business acumen for brand, financial, resource and data management
•    Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools
•    Ability to manage across multiple systems and spreadsheets 
•    Experience with SAP, Comp Portal a plus
•    Results-driven and solutions-oriented 
•    Great attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Passion/expertise for sports products (footwear, apparel and equipment) and youth culture
•    Ability to anticipate, identify and elevate risks and issues and to head them off proactively
•    Team player with a desire to make a difference
•    Strong desire and willingness to participate in a community of managers and peers
•    Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and globally
