Our client is a leading brand in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, known for its commitment to health and sustainability. We are embarking on an exciting journey to rebrand our packaging and enhance our brand identity. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seasonal Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in the successful launch of our rebrand.
Responsibilities:
As a Seasonal Project Manager we are looking for someone at the associate or coordinator level that will be reporting to the Director of Innovation. You will work directly with the Innovation team along with Brand and Creative teams, to ensure the seamless execution of the rebrand launch.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Project managing the packaging rebrand roll-out to completion.
- Managing the entire design feedback loop and acting as a liaison for external/agency communications, ensuring deadlines are met and collaboration among team members is effective.
- Overseeing the proofing and internal feedback process, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborating with procurement to manage timing and communicate write-offs costs effectively.
- Ordering and managing digital samples and mock-ups to facilitate the rebranding process.
- Coordinating and executing the rebrand internal announcements and communication.
- Supporting the Innovation team with other project management tasks related to packaging or innovation projects as needed.
Note: This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of approximately September 2023 to May 2024. The position will require ~30-40 hours per week during this period. Upon completion of the project, we will be considering full-time candidacy on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 2 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of successfully managing complex projects with tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
- Experience with agency communication, particularly with design/ creative agencies.
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills, able to anticipate challenges and find effective solutions.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- An adaptable and flexible mindset to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Above all, superior organizational skills!
Preferred Qualification. While not required, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience with rebranding projects or packaging design.
- Familiarity with packaging practices within the CPG industry.
