Job description

Job Title: Data Visualization Designer / Infographic Designer

Location: Remote (must be in U.S.A)

Employment Type: Contract, ongoing work

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Visualization Designer / Infographic Designer who can go beyond design execution to interpret and digest data, then transform it into consumer-facing visuals that are fun, engaging, and easy to understand. This role focuses on public-facing infographics and creative data stories that will live across marketing campaigns, websites, social channels, and branded content—helping audiences connect with information in a visually compelling way.

Responsibilities

  • Read, analyze, and digest raw data or research findings, then translate them into clear, consumer-friendly visuals.
  • Design infographics and data visualizations that are engaging, playful, and easy to interpret at a glance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to ensure visuals resonate with external audiences.
  • Develop concepts that simplify complex information without losing accuracy.
  • Balance creativity with clarity—making sure the design communicates the right story in a fun and approachable way.
  • Produce visuals optimized for a range of consumer-facing platforms (social media, web, email, campaigns, presentations).
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on deadline.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in infographic design, consumer-facing data visualization, or related work.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to turn data into fun, engaging consumer-facing graphics.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Figma.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to independently interpret data and craft visuals that are accurate yet easy to understand.
  • Experience designing for consumer brands, marketing campaigns, or digital content is highly preferred.
  • Motion graphics or interactive visualization skills are a plus.

What We’re Looking For

  • A visual storyteller who can make numbers and data feel approachable and fun.
  • Someone comfortable working with both raw data and creative direction.
  • A designer who thrives at blending analytical thinking with bold, consumer-friendly creativity.
