Demand PlannerThe Demand Planner, North America will play a critical role in driving the operational and commercial excellence of the North America organization. The role will involve forecasting, analyzing data, commercial modelling, interpreting impacts, and driving insights to enable effective decision-making across North America's retail distribution. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure an efficient, effective, proactive approach to the commercial environment and Internal operations.
Demand Planner Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain accurate and reliable demand forecasts for North America retail distribution at a SKU level in partnership with North America leadership and Operations team, utilizing statistical models and other forecasting techniques
• Proactively review insights and KPIs with North America leadership and Operations team that monitor patterns and uncover risks and opportunities to sales plan
• Partner with Retailer's planning team to bring opportunities, challenge inconsistencies, and share analysis
• Own the latest demand estimate on a weekly basis and communicate to Demand and Supply teams globally
• Work closely with supply chain and logistics team to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained in forecast tool to meet demand
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics and KPIs to the North America leadership and senior management teams
• Collaborate with North America leadership to lead commercial analysis of key moments, promotions, etc. to understand impact to business
• Monitor and evaluate actual sales data to adjust and update demand forecasts as needed
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements, streamlining workflows, and optimizing inventory management
Demand Planner Key Qualifications:
• 5-6 years of experience in demand planning, commercial analysis, supply chain, or logistics, preferably within a beauty or consumer products environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
• Experience working with forecasting tools and software
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and implement process improvements
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
