Fashion Brand looking for a Direct-Hire Associate Product Developer.Job Title: Associate Product Developer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creating costing packs with all details pertaining to a style and handing off to the factory.
• Download tech packs from Flex PLM and initiate development in multiple colorways from the beginning to the finished line sample.
• Create and maintain spread sheets for tracking line samples, fit samples and photoshoot samples.
• Follow up with overseas fabric and trim vendors to ensure timely delivery of s/y and trims to the factory.
• Sourcing trim and fabric with overseas suppliers
• Analyze spec sheets and inspect quality for all samples received.
• Photograph, tag and send samples to the customer.
• Work with Designer to source new fabrics and trims and maintain WIP
• Create style folders – pass information to Pre- Production team when style is adopted.
• Cataloging, sending and tracking all retail samples sent to customer
• Maintain fabric library
Qualifications
• Must be well versed in Excel. Knowledge of PLM a plus
• Must be able to multi- task, troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Candidates must be highly organized with a sense of urgency and be able to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to proactively work and think independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have excellent written, verbal communication and follow up skills.
Education/Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in product development
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Fashion Design or Product Development
