Director, Global Digital Marketing & Strategy – Contract (Luxury Beauty)

Hybrid – On Site 1 day / week in NYC.
Pay: 70-80/hr
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in beauty and luxury goods with the ability to lead the global digital and social media strategy. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day digital activities including leading the D2C channel, paid advertising, email marketing, content and social media designed to drive awareness, engagement and brand equity. The position is responsible for managing the paid media and social agencies, overseeing two direct reports, and working cross-functionally with various internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global D2C and digital marketing strategy, encompassing launch and marketing focuses, paid media, email marketing, content development and social media to drive growth and consumer engagement.
- Oversee Paid Media agency, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, promotional calendars, and performance KPIs across all digital channels.
- Direct Social Media agency efforts, including shoot planning and execution, creator-led content development, blog strategy, and oversight of the social media calendar and community.
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight for the Associate Manager, Digital & Social and E-commerce Operations Manager, fostering cross-functional collaboration and development.
- Manage the annual digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and support business priorities.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ relevant digital experience
- Knowledge of beauty industry with a focus on luxury goods
- Digitally-savvy and well-immersed in emerging trends
- Experience managing direct reports
- Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and follow up skills
- Dynamic, able to move/adapt quickly and maintain focus amid change
- Self-starter; Ability to work autonomously and manage projects
