Director, Amazon Operations
Full Time, Salaried Position.
4 Days / Week On Site in NYC Office.
Target Salary: 130k-160k (Based on Experience Level)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ecommerce leader to oversee and scale our Amazon marketplace operations within the consumer goods industry. This full-time leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of driving profitable growth through Amazon’s 3P platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full P&L management for Amazon operations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, profitability, and budget adherence.
- Develop and implement advertising, merchandising, and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and accelerate sales growth.
- Manage day-to-day Amazon operations including inventory planning, customer experience, catalog and listing management, and account health monitoring.
- Own forecasting processes for sales and demand, collaborating cross-functionally to align production and marketing plans.
- Oversee successful new product launches and manage content optimization efforts such as product detail pages, imagery, and videos.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to derive actionable insights and continually refine operational and marketing strategies.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and external agencies to maintain operational excellence and achieve business goals.
- Support sustainability initiatives in alignment with corporate climate and biodiversity goals as part of daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts with expertise in FBA and Amazon media platforms—experience in luxury consumer product sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Excellent leadership skills, comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into practical business improvements.
- Demonstrated aptitude for cross-team collaboration and effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
