Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Ecommerce Merchandising to lead and optimize our online product strategy and drive revenue growth. This role will focus on enhancing the consumer shopping journey through data-driven merchandising decisions, strategic product positioning, and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with brand vision to elevate the shopper experience and maximize sales across all ecommerce platforms.
  • Create actionable plans to increase conversion rates and average order value (AOV) through effective product placement in online campaigns, including display ads, emails, landing pages, cross-selling modules, consumer reviews, site search optimization, and ad placements.
  • Oversee ongoing site improvements such as sales sections, markdown cadence, and promotional events to optimize performance and user engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to curate the most attractive and relevant product assortments, focusing on online exclusives, cross-sell opportunities, and direct-to-consumer promotional calendars.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, third-party agencies, and executive management for project management initiatives.
  • Lead a team of four (including ecommerce operations and customer service), interpreting requirements and developing project plans to meet schedule and quality objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in online merchandising, preferably in a direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong awareness of sales analytics, brand growth goals, and site navigation best practices.
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and digital consumer shopping behavior.
  • Performance-driven mindset with a self-motivated approach to achieving results.
