Engineering Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves performing diverse and complex assignments in support of product development, including setting up and running data acquisition equipment for tests, conducting experiments, troubleshooting issues, and documenting results effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and assist in evaluating engineering models using independent judgment and initiative.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving multiple variables to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to analyze system performance and draw accurate conclusions.
- Evaluate software and hardware components, leveraging knowledge of product systems, intermodule interactions, and engineering tools.
- Communicate technical information clearly throughout the product development cycle to enhance system reliability, functionality, and serviceability.
- Provide constructive feedback and leadership in the creation of engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation.
- Develop and deliver training plans as needed to support team members.
- Contribute individually while supporting overall team goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma with at least2 years of technical experience.
- Strong logical troubleshooting skills at the subsystem level, occasionally extending to full system analysis.
- Ability to interpret test data and malfunctions to assist in design or process improvements.
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting basic technical documentation.
- Experience utilizing computerized work systems efficiently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under general direction with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to continuously updating knowledge of current technologies.
- Fluency in the local language for clear communication.
