24 Seven is partnering with a global sportwear client to help them find a Finance & Demand Planner for this fully remote position. This is a full-time, 3 month contract with potential to extend. While on contract, you’d be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick time, and more.

Ideal Candidate: will have 7+ years in IT, including 5 years implementing demand planning or financial solutions, with hands-on experience in SAP APO, IBP, SAC, or IBM Advanced Analytics, and a degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Role Overview:
The role of the Finance & Demand Planner is responsible for the planning, installing and for the configuration of software solutions and systems. It is capable to support employees with specific applications and provides expert advisory. The role analyzes information systems and individualizes specific system solutions to meet the demand of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Specialist advice

  • Maintains expertise in one or more specialisms.

  • Provides detailed guidance on applying specialist knowledge to organizational planning and operations.

  • Recognizes limits of own expertise and collaborates with other specialists as needed.

Business analysis

  • Investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities to identify effective solutions.

  • Assists in analyzing stakeholder objectives and identifying options for consideration.

  • Works with stakeholders to define potential benefits, options, and acceptance tests.

  • Selects and applies appropriate business analysis methods and tools for projects.

Requirements definition and management

  • Chooses suitable requirements approaches for projects (predictive or agile).

  • Defines and manages scoping, requirements, and prioritization for medium-complexity initiatives.

  • Facilitates stakeholder input, provides constructive challenge, and ensures effective prioritization.

  • Reviews requirements for errors, establishes baselines, secures agreement, and ensures traceability.

  • Manages authorized changes to baseline requirements per change management policy.

Porting/software configuration

  • Assists with software/equipment configuration and platform-specific systems testing.

  • Documents faults, implements resolutions, and retests to standards.

Application support

  • Identifies and resolves application issues per agreed procedures.

  • Uses management tools to collect performance data.

  • Performs agreed application maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient spoken and written command of English
• At least 7-year experience in IT
• 5 years of experience in relevant area
• Managed critical elements and cross functional and regional projects
• At least 5 years in implementing demand planning, financial solutions or financial planning solutions (SAP APO, IBP, SAC and/or IBM Advanced Analytics experience strongly preferred)
