Freelance Packaging and Labeling Coordinator

We are seeking a Packaging & Labeling Coordinator on a 3-month freelance contract. This role is remote but candidates must reside in California. The coordinator will play a key role in managing packaging and labeling artwork across product categories, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with internal standards.

Position Details

• Role: Packaging & Labeling Coordinator

• Location: Remote (must be CA-based)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Type: Freelance, 3-month contract

• Pay: $27–$30/hr (DOE)

• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Upload and verify seasonal template artwork in PLM, ensuring all required information is included under each packaging code

• Organize final templates and production e-proof files for cross-functional reference

• Assist in refining and improving existing SOPs for packaging workflows

• Build and maintain a comprehensive packaging reference library

• Provide support on urgent, time-sensitive packaging initiatives and requests from leadership

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in packaging/labeling coordination or production support (apparel or consumer products preferred)

• Strong knowledge of PLM systems and packaging artwork processes

• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and shared drives (SharePoint/Drive); Adobe Illustrator/PDF markups a plus

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines

• Strong communication skills and proven follow-through in cross-functional environments
