Freelance- Production Coordinator- Onsite- Los Angeles

A well-known RTW brand is seeking a Freelance Production Coordinator to join their team onsite in Los Angeles. This role will support the Production Manager across denim and RTW categories, including private label, within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator will support day-to-day production operations, working closely with overseas factories (primarily China) to ensure all samples, approvals, and timelines are executed accurately. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Track and follow up on samples including proto, PP, and TOP
• Prepare and organize samples for fittings (2x per week)
• Attend fittings and support follow-up communication
• Process purchase orders and update production timelines in ERP system (RLM)
• Manage production swatches and ensure alignment with approved standards
• Communicate daily with overseas factories (China)
• Support production across denim and RTW categories, including private label
• Assist with general production coordination and reporting

Qualifications:
• 2–3 years of experience in production or product development (denim preferred)
• Experience within RTW and/or denim categories
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/PLM systems (RLM a plus, open to training)
• Strong communication skills; experience working with overseas vendors preferred
• Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus
