  • Oversee construction projects from feasibility through handover to store management.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules and ensure all landlord handover conditions meet our clients standards.
  • Lead and develop a team of project managers, facilities manager, and coordinator.
  • Collaborate with design, real estate, operations, procurement, and other teams to achieve company goals.
  • Review and ensure GC’s detailed project plans, permitting processes, and timelines are met.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Owner Furnished Items (OFI) for project completion.
  • Identify and escalate timing or quality issues to prevent overruns.
  • Select general contractors and architects based on proposals, costs, and qualifications.
  • Lead site walkthroughs throughout the project lifecycle, resolving on-site issues for flawless delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local code requirements and vendor performance standards.
  • Conduct final inspections with the construction manager before handover to store operations.
  • Lead post-project analysis to drive continual process improvement.
  • Manage timely approval and payment of invoices in partnership with HQ.

We are looking for a leader who has the following-

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management preferred).
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience (high-end retail experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience managing external project management firms and working with both union and non-union vendors/contractors.
  • Solid understanding of flagship and standard store requirements; experience rolling out multiple stores at once is highly valued.
  • Able to read architectural plans and schematic drawings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Market-competitive compensation package including 401k, health insurance, PTO, paid sick leave, and more.
  • Opportunities for on-the-job training to keep your skills sharp and up-to-date.
  • A focus on career development through short-term assignments and new experiences as we grow together.
