Our client, a health/wellness company, is looking for a stellar HR Coordinator / Admin Assistant to join their team!
The role is direct hire and full time.
The role is hybrid based in Tustin, 50% on site and 50% remote.
About The Position
Our client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated people operations person to join our HR team and help organize our HR & onboarding workflow. You will provide administrative support to the VP and executive/HR team as needed. The individual in this role will handle and provide support for various HR programs within the growing organization.
This role is 50% remote / 50% in-office and will report to the Vice President.
What you’ll do:
? Oversee and manage documents & activities relating to improving employee engagement & building a great virtual/hybrid remote culture
? Serve as initial point of contact for HR inquiries and route for answers & escalation as needed
? Create and maintain employee files and overall HR system/documentation, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all data and files
? Effectively onboard new hires and manage new hire orientations
? Process & oversee all team member quarterly & annual reviews
? Manage all office admin/IT related duties for the Irvine headquarters
? Organize events and book travel plans for team members
? Plan team building activities, lunches and other bonding activities
? Build strong relationships with all team members of our small company (~50 total team members worldwide) to strengthen team culture & bonding
? Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and provide reporting/suggestions for improvement
? Research and assist in implementation of new HR or performance tracking application (e.g. 15Five)
? Assist in recruiting processes to integrate with positive HR experience and culture fit of candidates
? Assist in executive/administrative assistant tasks as assigned by executive team
? Assist Marketing & Operations team with tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate:
? Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
? 1-2 years experience working in HR or Office Administration
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high energy
? Proven track record of hosting effective company events & socials
? Highly proficient in Google Suite (including Docs, Sheets & Slides)
? Experience managing and maintaining onboarding and culture docs
? Strong attention to detail
? Experience tying in the company core values with culture/processes
? Experience making HR/Event flyers (e.g. Canva)
? Understanding of the importance of accuracy and integrity of all HR data
? A highly organized, flexible, and good multi-tasker who can meet challenging deadlines
? Aptitude for learning new tools and applications quickly and efficiently
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with start-up mentality
? Willingness to adapt and grow and learn quickly in role
A Plus For:
? Photoshop or other design experience
? Employee relations / case escalation experience
? Experience with a SMB-level / Enterprise HR system (e.g. Gusto, Workday or ADP)
? Experience with a virtual/hybrid remote company
? Multi-state HR compliance & setup
? Warehouse/OSHA experience
? Experience building career pages/portals online
? Harassment compliance experience
? Experience with company insurance such as General Liability or Workers Compensation
