Industrial Designer – 3D Visualization

One of our consumer goods and electronics client is looking for a freelance Industrial Designer with a strong 3D visualization focus to develop new, investor-ready design assets.

The freelance Industrial Designer will be taking both existing 3D renderings and creating fresh new 3D models/visuals that help communicate the product vision, form, and future potential for an upcoming investor pitch deck.

This freelance Industrial Designer will play a key role in this short-term, part-time project with an early-stage team that values clear visual storytelling, speed, and thoughtful product design.

Job Responsibilities
– Develop new industrial design concepts and 3D assets for a consumer hardware product
– Create high-quality, presentation-ready 3D renderings for use in an investor pitch deck
– Build upon existing design direction while introducing new ideas and visual refinements
– Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align designs with brand, audience, and business goals
– Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving pitch requirements
– Deliver organized, well-documented design files and visual assets

Ideal freelance Industrial Designer – 3D Visualization candidates will have:
– Proven experience as an Industrial Designer with a strong emphasis on 3D modeling and visualization
– Portfolio demonstrating consumer product design and polished 3D renderings
– Proficiency in relevant tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, KeyShot, Blender, or similar)
– Ability to translate product vision into clear, compelling investor-facing visuals
– Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
– Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Nice to Have
– Experience with consumer electronics or plastic housings
– Familiarity with startup fundraising materials or investor pitch decks
– Experience designing products for families or younger audiences

Deliverables
– New 3D models and renderings optimized for investor presentations
– Visual assets suitable for pitch decks and related materials
