Inventory Planning Manager

Role Overview:

AS THE INVENTORY OPERATIONS MANAGER , YOU WILL PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN SHAPING AND OPTIMIZING INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND RELATED OPERATIONS. WORKING ALONGSIDE THE PRODUCTION TEAM, YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO BRINGING THE COMPANY’S PRODUCT VISION TO LIFE.   YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE INVENTORY OWNERSHIP, DETAILED TRACKING AND RELATED PROCESS PLANNING. THIS   INCLUDES UNDERSTANDING LOGISTICS OPERATIONS, SUPPLY CHAIN/ RELATED RESOURCES AND COLLABORATING WITH PRODUCTION, TECHNICAL, COMMERCIAL AND FINANCE TEAMS.


Inventory Planning Manager Roles and Responsibilities 
 
  • OPERATE  PROACTIVELY ON ALL INVENTORY TRACKING, PLANNING AND RELATED LOGISTICS OPERATIONS.
  • MANAGE  ASSEMBLY  ITEMS  IN  NETSUITE;  WORK  WITH  PRODUCT  DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION,  AND  E-COMMERCE  TEAMS  ON  INVENTORY AND TRIM/COMPONENT MANAGEMENT.
  • WORKS  WITHIN  VARIOUS PURCHASE ORDER PROCESSES ACROSS PRODUCTION, ACCOUNTING, E-COMMERCE, AND MERCHANDISING TEAMS FOR GRANULAR INVENTORY OWNERSHIP.
  • COORDINATE  PLANNING  MEETINGS  TO  ALIGN  LOGISTICS  TEAMS WITH PRODUCT TEAMS TO MAINTAIN NETSUITE AND SHOPIFY  INVENTORY DATA.
  • PROACTIVELY  WORK  WITH  SHIPPING  CARRIERS/LOGISTICS  TEAMS  TO  MAINTAIN DETAILED VISIBILITY ON INVENTORY ACROSS WAREHOUSES AND 3PLS.
  • COLLABORATE  WITH  BUSINESS  AFFAIRS  AND  OPERATIONS  TEAMS  TO  SCALE INVENTORY AND RELATED LOGISTICS OPERATIONS.
  • PROVIDES  OPERATIONAL  ANALYSIS  AND  INSIGHTS  ON  EXISTING  SYSTEMS  AS RELATED TO INVENTORY PROCESSES AND LOGISTICS.

Inventory Planning Manager Key Qualifications:
  •  BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR TECH RELATED FIELD A PLUS.
  • 5-7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING OR RELATED ROLE
  • BACKGROUND IN APPAREL/ACCESSORIES OR CONSUMER GOODS INDUSTRY
  • HAS  THE  ABILITY  TO  DIRECT  AND  DELIVER  AGAINST  VARYING  GOALS  WHERE STRATEGY IS NOT DEFINED.
  • EXPERIENCE /UNDERSTANDING OF ERP OR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
  •  RESOURCEFUL  AND  SCRAPPY  INDIVIDUAL  WHO  IS  WILLING  TO  ROLL  UP  THEIR SLEEVES WHERE NO JOB IS TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL.
  • STRONG ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  •  ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND COLLABORATIVELY.
  • IDEAL  CANDIDATE  HAS  NETSUITE  AND  CELIGO  KNOWLEDGE  OR  SIMILIAR  ERP OPERATIONS WITH MIDDLEWARE EXPERIENCE.
  • MUST BE DETAIL ORIENTED.
  • STRONG PLANNING AND TIME MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATION SKILLS WITH A SENSE OF PRIORITY FOR DEADLINES.
  •  ABILITY TO USE STRUCTURED THINKING TO CARRY OUT LONG–TERM PROJECTS.
