Our client is seeking an IT Sourcing Analyst to join their team in this hybrid role in New York City, NY. This is a full-time, 2 year contract role with potential to extend. While on contract you’d be eligible for benefits, including vision, dental, medical, holiday pay, 401k and more.

Ideal Candidate: 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or financial analysis, with a strong focus on IT-related categories.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, analytical IT Sourcing Analyst to support Global Procurement initiatives across North America. This role focuses on executing strategic sourcing activities, supporting category management, and driving value across IT spend areas including software, hardware, telecom, and IT services. The Analyst will partner closely with regional stakeholders and global procurement teams, contributing to high-impact initiatives while building expertise in IT sourcing within a global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with Global Procurement priorities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to align sourcing roadmaps, priorities, and timelines

  • Plan and lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including regional and global opportunities

  • Manage sourcing projects end-to-end, from spend analysis and RFx development through negotiations and contract implementation

  • Support supplier relationship management and ongoing procurement initiatives

  • Deliver spend analytics, performance reporting, and savings tracking while ensuring policy and process compliance

  • Provide ad hoc support across procurement systems, including purchase requests, supplier onboarding, and data maintenance

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or financial analysis, ideally supporting IT-related categories

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred

  • Working knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes and procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Workday, or similar)

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience building reports and presentations
