Job description

Junior Product Designer (Multidisciplinary)

Location: In-Studio (Full Time), Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually

A studio at the intersection of luxury, art, interiors, and culture is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join its Los Angeles team. This is an opportunity for emerging designers with a multidisciplinary mindset—those who are passionate about the craft of furniture, lighting, and spatial design, and drawn to environments where architecture, artistry, and storytelling converge.

As part of a collaborative, design-forward studio, you’ll help translate creative vision into refined, tangible works—developing concepts, drawings, and prototypes that embody both beauty and precision. This is a full-time, onsite position (five days per week) in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to concept development and execution across furniture, lighting, and interior products.
  • Create compelling sketches, renderings, and presentations that capture design intent and vision.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp.
  • Support materials research, sample coordination, and vendor or fabrication communication.
  • Collaborate with Interiors and Architecture teams to ensure design cohesion across disciplines.
  • Maintain and organize material libraries, samples, and digital assets.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in product, furniture, or interior design within a creative or design-driven environment.
  • Strong visualization, drafting, and rendering skills; proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino/SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of materials, fabrication, and hands-on design processes.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced studio.
  • Genuine interest in luxury design, art, and cultural spaces, with a collaborative and curious approach to creative work.
