Job description

Our client, a multinational financial corporation is looking for a Lead Product Designer to join their team. You will elevate the overall quality of UX/UI design of the digital experiences related to Credit & Collections, Lending, Payments, and related products.

As a Lead Product Designer you will leverage and contribute to the enterprise Design System to ensure consistent UX that’s based on our brand guidelines

-Mentor and coach associate designers in developing foundational craft knowledge

-Share work regularly with Director and other product designers to gain insights, feedback, and drive cross-team collaboration

-Empathize with users by observing and analyzing research labs

-Partake in resource gathering exercises such as design and content audits, competitive analysis, and business partner interviews

-Participate in cross-functional workshops such as co-creation, empathy mapping, and journey mapping exercises

-Synthesize user needs and business objectives to formulate testable prototypes and validate our hypotheses

-Ideate and prototype in both hi- and lo-fidelities using, pen and paper, and digital tools

-Build any required supporting documentation such as user flows, personas, service blueprints, etc. in accordance with UX standard processes


Lead Product Designer Qualifications:

  • 5+ years UX / Product Design experience 
  • Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, wireframing, and user flows 
  • Strong portfolio showing examples of complex design execution highlighting your end-to-end design process from concept through in-production experience 
  • Strong visual design skills for responsive web design (grids, spacing, typography, color, etc.) 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
  • Analytical approach to complex problems and ability to organize complex information into easy-to-understand groups 
  • Ability to multitask, work both independently and collaboratively, and proactively seek feedback 
  •  
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Sketch, InVision, Mural and Confluence (experience with Airtable, Principle, Jira, and other design and productivity software is a plus) 
  • General understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc 
  • Understanding of lean/agile product development methods
