Lifecycle Marketing Director Overview:

As the Lifecycle Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies to increase customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value. In this role, you will report to the Chief Growth Officer, and work cross-functionally with creative, site development, design, and the broader marketing team to ideate, build and execute compelling marketing campaigns.

 

 

Lifecycle Marketing Manager Overview:

  • Deliver 1:1 communication that anticipate and answer customers’ needs across their lifetime, and developing loyalty strategies to grow repeat customers
  • Understand the customer journey and use data to create and manage our cohort and customer segmentation strategy
  • Architect lifecycle marketing strategy to deliver on engagement, retention, LTV across multiple touch points and channels such as email, SMS, direct mail, and the eCommerce experience
  • Develop lifecycle journeys and initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, including onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Create and deploy targeted on-brand communications across relevant channels
  • Understand campaign performance data, mine for deep customer insights and drive continuous improvement with A/B testing
  • Define key metrics for retention success, develop dashboards and monitor Lifecycle KPIs to garner insights on consumer behavior and drive actionable next steps including a testing roadmap
  • Develop and implement a loyalty program that engages customers and fosters brand advocacy, while also delivering improvements on LTV
  • Partner closely with the creative & content / live ops teams to get creative built out in support of the plans

 

Lifecycle Marketing Director Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing focused on email marketing, customer analytics, retention and/or lifecycle (preferably at a D2C business)
  • Background in Beauty/Health and Wellness a bonus
  • Strong data driven mentality and deeply familiar with tools to support retention and CRM efforts such as Google Analytics, Looker, Email Creation/HTML, ESPs such as Klaviyo
  • Experience in managing a customer loyalty program
  • Proven ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and complete responsibilities in a fast paced, change oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
