The Manager of Wholesale Digital & e-Commerce will own holistic strategy and execution for a designated family of business for brands sold online by wholesale partners. With a keen pulse on the digital space within the fashion industry, this role will influence all touchpoints throughout the client journey from awareness to conversion and support end-to-end operations across the product lifecycle from asset planning to account handoff. The Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sell-thru for digital retail, informing assortment planning, and optimizing product presentation and placement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement targeted strategies for department store, specialty, and online pureplay accounts, articulating specific action plans across content, site merchandising, and marketing for each wholesale.com
Provide consistent insights on the state of the business to Digital, Sales and Marketing partners to inform short-term actions and long-term planning; secure product knowledge, align on priorities, and advocate for digital differentiation through line openings, sample reviews, account meetings, and business reviews to develop seasonal plans
Conduct regular working sessions with cross-functional partners to develop synergies and ensure timely execution of digital-specific tactics
Analyze digital KPIs with focus on engagement, conversion, and profitability from campaign and PDP reporting; partner with site merchants and dedicated brand specialists at accounts to secure, review, and act on key takeaways to drive sell-through with strong understanding of diverse platform capabilities
Leverage on-site performance marketing tactics such as sponsored search, customer review seeding, and enriched PDP content, implementing best practices to increase scope and ROI; work with Director to test and learn, piloting new initiatives to secure proof of concepts
Collaborate with Brand Marketing to manage seamless client touchpoints with consistent message, ensuring site placements and performance marketing align with site merchandising; propose unique commercial incentives to exploit digital-specific and omni-channel services
Identify on-trend, exclusive content solutions to solve business needs, such as fit guides, style guides, PDP alts and videos; coordinate with internal agency and studio for on-time, quality asset production
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience within digital marketing, merchandising, and/or operations
Excellent project management, written/verbal communication skills, and facility with Excel/PowerPoint
Skilled in synthesizing data into actionable insights in a concise, clear format
Solid leadership presence, with ability to influence peers and partners
Exceptional analytical skills, with ability to identify opportunities across diverse data sources
Demonstrated marketing understanding from a brand, commercial, and/or consumer lens
Knowledge of e-Commerce platforms and web technologies with a proficiency in conversion optimization
Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Prior experience at a large, matrixed, best-in-class retailer or brand preferred
