Marketing Communications Adminstrator
Duration: 03/04/2026 – 09/30/2026
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Onsite Requirements: In office Monday–Thursday

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Marketing Communications Administrator to provide interim backfill support within the Global Division Marketing Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic, integrated marketing communications programs that increase awareness and drive purchase intent for 3M branded products across global B2B audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic, holistic, integrated communications programs to build brand awareness and drive purchase intent across global B2B markets.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and manage internal and external creative and marketing partners to ensure alignment on strategy, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Proofread marketing and communication materials, enforce proper brand usage, and ensure brand compliance across all assets.
  • Perform basic edits to existing InDesign-created materials as needed to update or adapt content.
  • Proactively manage project schedules, estimates, creative briefs, and milestones to deliver marketing programs on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Coordinate the development of foundational product content, campaign assets, and external communications, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., product, sales, digital, creative) to gather inputs, align on objectives, and track progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an agency environment (account, strategy, project management, or digital role) and/or in a corporate/business marketing role.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading marketing projects with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, proofing, and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • High level of creativity and comfort working within an environment of ambiguity and change.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong project facilitation and communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Prior experience developing or writing creative briefs and guiding creative development.
  • Customer- and client-centric mindset, with enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity for marketing and communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing channels such as social media, email/marketing automation, tradeshows, websites, brochures, and related tactics.
