Our client is a Growing footwear brand in Irvine, CA and they are looking for a Strong Marketing Manager with Retail/Co-Op Marketing experience. MUST live in SoCal. The role is 4 days on site in Irvine mandatory!
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand energy through the wholesale specialty channels – in-store, supported ads, and online. This role will work hand in hand with sales management to ensure that brand standards are clearly articulated, branded materials are available, and we achieve consistency in execution. This role is responsible for the strategy, ideation, creation, and execution of sell-in and sell-through tools, materials, and messages; providing a clear hand-off to sales teams to deploy assets.
Responsibilities:
Elevate the In-Store Experience:
- Innovate within the store environment to ensure we’re on top of trends, technology, and providing the best overall experience.
- Develop new tools to support the in-store environment.
- Create a comprehensive environments program that ensures the company looks the best, with a high degree of compatibility between elements to allow for easy expansion of the program.
- Manage inventory and vendor process of all fixture & display tools to re-order and design new items.
- Work closely with sales to identify specific opportunities, by account, to enhance the brand’s presence in-store, adopting a best-in-class approach for retail partners.
- Execute custom-build outs when necessary and appropriate.
- Monitor and manage the execution of the brand at 3rd party retail through tools, strategic guides, and hands-on store visits.
- Quarterly market visits planned and more as needed to support the business.
Co-op Programs:
- Develop and manage co-op programs, manage budgets, providing strategy and creative support and execution to achieve sell-thru goals.
- Seasonally plan and execute co-op partnership meetings with sales representatives and specialty accounts.
- Execute multi-door, national programs such as sales contests, window programs, and in-store events.
- Support execution by all means necessary.
Brand Asset Creation:
- Develop best-in-class tools that elevate the company’s positioning within wholesale. Manage and create a social sharing tool and DAM for easy access by accounts.
- Create suite of assets for offline use to ensure premium, branded execution of all materials, brand, and product education.
- Develop innovative solutions that help our partners increase traffic and drive sales for the company.
Premiums Management:
- Concept and develop premium, high quality goods that are used by sales representatives to drive brand awareness and relationships with specialty retailers.
- Manage all aspects of premiums production, from prototype approval, budget approval, timeline & deliveries management, deployment, and end use feedback,
Brand Training:
- Training is a key element of the brand; develop innovative experiences and training methods that help the retail associates articulate why the brand is better.
- Own online training platform.
- Develop tools for reps to use for in person trainings and clinics.
Support Marketing Go to Market Launches:
- Ideation, brainstorming, solutions-oriented execution for 3rd party channels and more.
- Content creation as necessary.
- Align all 3rd party channels with GTM thinking, timing, and product priorities.
Support the sell-in process:
- Manage end-to-end development of sell-in tools such as line guides, sell-in sheets, and merchandising programs.
- Support seasonal sales meeting experiences and trade shows marketing presentations, graphics, photoshoots/ lineguide asset creation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field
- Min and Max- 5 to 7 years of marketing experience, footwear or lifestyle brand and plus Management experience
- Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving skills
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Demonstrated leadership skills Asana or similar project management software experience a plus
