Our client, a well-known golf apparel company, is looking for a Merchandiser to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona! This is full-time opportunity with incredible benefits and perks!

Job Description:
The Merchandiser is responsible for building product strategies within each distribution channel and leading the seasonal buy process. This individual will drive assortment decisions & strategies to maximize sales, margin and product assortment. The Merchandiser will serve as the strategic business driver within product development, ensuring product and presentation enhances our brand while achieving sales targets and maintaining brand integrity. 

• Brief Design team on new ideas, key sport moments, and trends for the season.
• Build the product strategy within each respective distribution channel based on revenue targets.
• Partner with Planning to build seasonal buys and classification targets. 
• Lead the planning rankings process to help inform buy strategies and drive key item  investments.
• Maintain design / product intent, and overall brand vision, from product inception  through completion.
• Partner with Product Development and Design teams to review prototypes, and samples throughout the design process.
• Set pricing and margin targets with Product Development teams to meet seasonal goals.
• Maintain a complete understanding of the competitive and retail environments and  identify potential opportunities in the marketplace.
• Manage product lifecycle including release and retirement. 
• Manage product timelines to ensure deliverables are met and information is 
communicated to applicable teams. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Proficient in SYNC or equivalent ERP
• Ability to drive, influence and collaborate across numerous functional areas.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to change. 
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
• Strong creative thinking skillset.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Apparel Merchandising related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Product/Apparel Merchandising or Buying.
