Operations and Supply Chain Manager Overview:Our client is a high growth haircare brand that is seeking a new Operations and Supply Chain Manager to join their team!
Operations and Supply Chain Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communications with suppliers and distributors.
- Act as Project Manager for all Supply Chain initiatives
- Oversee production timelines
- Responsible for Warehousing, distribution, and inbound and outbound logistics
- Manage and oversee relationships with 3PLs
- Manage customer orders, prioritize and allocate accordingly with 3PL, communicate to customers and cross-functional partners
- Develops priority ship schedule with 3PL, drive on-time shipment to customers
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations
- Manage Freight Forwarders and coordinate shipments
- Develop process to allocate and prioritize inventory
- Prepare and analyze ad-hoc reporting and KPI as necessary
- Execute on day-to-day operations regarding warehouse, inventory, and purchase orders
- Provide end-to-end visibility to cross functional partners
- Reconcile actual shipments with allocations monthly and advise CEO on any significant deviations.
- Partner closely with production to coordinate and prioritize inbound logistics
- Create commercial invoices and work with custom brokers for international shipments
- Input necessary data into ERP
- Liaise with Finance team to establish cost of good targets and inventory adjustments
Operations and Supply Chain Manager Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain and Operations
- NetSuite experience preferred ERP management experience required
- Experience in International Shipping preferred
- Strong computer and analytical skills, including advanced Excel functions.
- Should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast moving environment
- Experience in beauty required
- Candidates must be self-starters and have a passion for operations and supply chain
