Position: Paid Social Associate (Freelance)
Location: NYC (Hybrid)
Duration: ASAP – 12/31 (strong possibility for extension)
Rate: $20-30/hr
Overview: This junior-level role focuses on supporting paid social campaigns by applying fundamental planning and buying skills. The associate will manage multiple projects and provide detailed paid social media recommendations, execute campaign tasks such as trafficking, quality assurance, asset management, performance monitoring, reporting, and billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile paid social media recommendations with targeting and campaign specifications.
- Execute campaign operations including trafficking, QA, asset management, performance monitoring, reporting, and billing.
- Analyze quantitative data, support analytics and planning with reports and data accuracy checks.
- Maintain communication with internal and external teams and attend meetings to foster collaboration.
- Participate in training and complete social platform certifications as required.
- Assist with budget pacing and billing under senior oversight.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 year of professional media experience, especially in social and digital, ideally within agency or planning roles.
- Strong understanding of digital media landscape including programmatic advertising.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Prisma, Salesforce, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable collaborating across teams in person, email, phone, and video.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for social media and advertising.
