Our client, a fashion ecommerce brand in DTLA is looking for a Photo Studio Manager to join their team!

Full time, direct hire
5 days onsite in DTLA/Arts District
Vaccination not required
Salary depending on experience


Summary/Objective:
The Studio Manager is responsible for our LA Studio Operations. They are directly responsible for the production facility, and empower the team to do their best work within it.

Essential Functions:
  • Key holder responsible for all LA based studio operations. Responsible for opening and closing of studio
  • Responsible for coordination of all studio rentals and needs
  • Directly responsible for all equipment related needs
  • Management of internal and external retouching partners and process
  • Responsible for all shipping / receiving
  • Deep understanding of production equipment, and ability to trouble shoot and problem solve technical production issues when they arise
  • Responsible for coordinating lunch and craft service needs
  • Responsible for studio protocols including Covid, temperature checks, testing
  • Responsible for maintaining the product tracker and product key / style guide distributions
  • Responsible for booking and managing production assistants as well as additional day players
  • Responsible for producing on lighter shoot days
  • Responsible for maintaining studio including painting cycs and updating sets before shoots as needed
  • Management of facility vendors (Cleaners, Trash, Internet, water, security, plumbing, etc.)
  • Ability to work with DAM & Archive assets
  • Experience with Capture One Software
Competencies:
  • You have experience building studios and teams from the ground up
  • Solid understanding of production workflows
  • Editing, Retouching, & DigiTech experience a plus
  • Ability to produce native social content a plus
  • You are emotionally intelligent and have excellent listening, communication, and analytical skills that help you to adapt in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working on corporate brands
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
