Overview:
Looking for an enthusiastic Analytics and Optimization Lead to join our growing Analytics and Optimization team in Chicago. The Analytics and Optimization Lead will support the measurement of digital experiences and deliver insights that improve the overall user experience of our customers’ web sites. You will cultivate a consultative relationship with our customers to understand their priorities, provide insights/reporting, and guidance to effectively execute their digital strategy. Implement tagging requirements, identifying measurable performance indicators, developing reports and dashboards, and responding to ad-hoc requests are an imperative part of your day-to-day activities. Your skills and background will be leveraged to help us better understand the needs, wants, and expectations of our clients’ by measuring and optimizing the digital experiences we create.?

Principal Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- The Analytics and Optimization Lead will be supporting and contributing to various analytics and optimization projects.
- You’ll be responsible for tagging, aggregating, analyzing, and interpreting various data sets into actionable insights.
- This may require you to identify efficiencies in ways data is captured, validated, and organized.
- You’ll work closely with our internal teams - project and account management, UX, strategy, and/or external partners to detect trends, summarize findings, and articulate key insights to agency and client stakeholders.
- Develop key business insights to help inform business strategies
- Identify critical datasets required to support client understanding and digital activation, identifies gaps in existing datasets and proactively mitigate
- Develop and track performance, and continually seek opportunities to optimize traffic, digital engagement, and overall user experience
Principal Data Analyst??????? Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience. Agency experience is highly desired
- Proficiency in aggregating data from multiple data sources to create custom reports and segments to provide data driven recommendations
- Intermediate-to-advanced experience with one or more of the following is an advantage
- Website Analytics: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Optimizely, SEMrush?
- Tag Management: Dynamic Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager, Tealium?
- Data Visualization Platform: Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio??
- Detail oriented, creative, and tenacious towards solving data inconsistencies and mitigating data quality issues?
- Strong understanding of digital channels, web technologies, digital analytics, and other quantitative analysis to best address business questions
- Strong project and time management skills. Must be able to multitask while juggling the needs of multiple customers. Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and capable of operating in an ambiguous environment

- Socially competent and able to connect with a diverse audience: senior leaders, mid-level managers, and individual contributors (both technical and non-technical)
