Location: Camden, NJ (onsite only initial 60-90 days, eventual WFH Wed/Fri)
Pay rate: $45-55+/hr DOE

One of our automotive OEM clients is looking for a contract Product Launch Specialist to join their team for an upcoming 6-month contract position.

This Product Launch Specialist will support the Product Launch Manager and serve as the lead for Awards, Accolades, and quotes licensing rules and language throughout the organization.

The Product Launch Specialist should be comfortable acting as a “duty expert” regarding Awards & Accolades usage and assist the Product Launch Manager in communication and coordination of all brand/industry awards, accolades and licensed claims language.

Ideal Product Launch Specialist candidates will have:
– At least 3-5+ years of agency/in-house marketing, product marketing, or brand management experience
– BA degree in marketing, communications, PR, or related field
– Proven agency, contract, and project management experience
– Ability to spend significant desk time gathering and analyzing data and creating communication decks.
– Ability to translate award language into consumer-facing claims/language.
– Strong collaborative, relationship-building, and communication skills.
– Ability to work across cultures, departments, teams, and agencies.
– Excellent project management and follow-up skills to ensure projects are on-track and managed to completion.
– Negotiation skills and contract management experience.
– Strong detail orientation.
– Fully proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Job Responsibilities:
– Serve as lead for Awards, Accolades, and quotes licensing rules and language throughout the organization.
– Act as “duty expert” regarding Awards & Accolades usage and assist the Product Launch Manager in communication and coordination of all brand/carline awards, accolades and licensed claims language.
– Act as key stakeholder in developing and communicating Awards & Accolades claims for Marketing. Maintains responsibility for the Awards & Accolades document along with designated agency partner(s).
– Maintain and manage Competitive Claims and Active Licensed Quotes documents along with designated agency partner(s). (Both must be published regularly and kept up to date as well as communicated to the broader Launch Team across Sales, Training, Marketing, Public Relations, Product Management, Business Planning, and SBR departments.)
– Serve as lead person to coordinate Motor Trend, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), Kelley Blue Book (KBB), etc. claims along with Public Relations and agency partners to ensure claims are being fully utilized in all appropriate communications, as well as being the lead person to communicate to the claim partner agencies or key persons.
– Lead and manage the partnership and claims/awards
– Oversee licensing and budget as well as develop showroom-ready materials along with Sales Training to ensure CR materials are available for use in the sales process.
– Plan, coordinate, and run weekly or bi-monthly (as necessary) Launch and Marketing team meetings to ensure adequate coordination of marketing activities, including developing an agenda, communication decks, and collateral materials.
– Lead the organization of digital messaging portal
– Partner with product launch specialist to unearth competitive vehicle specifications and assist in the development of product claim language.
