Job description

Program Manager, Workplace Architecture Design & Brand

Los Angeles, California – Ideal candidates can be hybrid, maybe flexible

Contract, 1 year

Pay $85/hr+ (w2, eligible for benefits!)!

We’re looking for a Design Program Manager with architectural expertise to join our Workplace Design + Brand team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming strategic business needs into exceptional, functional, and visually compelling spaces. The ideal candidate combines strong architectural design skills with experience managing branded workplace environments from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design process for workplace projects, from early visioning and space planning to construction oversight and final delivery. Manage multiple architecture-focused projects at once, ensuring timely progress, consistent design quality, and alignment with budget and scope.
  • Translate design goals into clear architectural concepts that support both function and brand, working across schematic design, development, and documentation. Review and refine architectural drawings and construction documents — including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications — to ensure accuracy and design intent.
  • Collaborate with external design firms, consultants, and contractors to deliver cohesive, buildable solutions
  • Support spatial programming and planning in partnership with internal teams, ensuring space needs and functional goals are integrated into the design process.
  • Ensure all spaces reflect company culture and brand identity through thoughtful design choices, materiality, and architectural language.
  • Maintain architectural standards and consistency across workplace initiatives.
  • Stay informed on best practices in inclusive design, sustainable materials, and emerging workplace architecture trends.
  • Provide input on cost-related decisions and value engineering efforts without compromising design integrity.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in architectural design for workplace, commercial, or tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong foundation in building systems, codes, detailing, and construction methods.
  • Skilled in architectural drawing, documentation, and space layout design.
  • Proficient in design and documentation tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience leading design projects with external consultants, vendors, and internal partners.
